Mumbai, is a leading medical center of our country. It has been in the forefront in the treatment of surgical patients and training young surgeons. But, we still do not have a Surgical Society in the city. We feel the need to have a Surgical Society for sharing our experience and impart knowledge to our young surgeons.
Surgery is evolving at a rapid pace, therefore, unless we keep in touch with newer modalities, our knowledge will become obsolete. In this era of super-specialization, there is a lot we can learn from each other’s experience for our individual growth. Here, the teachers, consultants in private practice and the students, will discuss problems of academic importance.
We are in the process of continuing this tradition and organizing Mumbai Surgical Society, to coordinate all the teaching institutes under its banner.
We would like you to participate actively for the development of this Surgical body.
